Ensembles

A STRING QUARTET (2 violins, viola and cello) is a traditional ensemble and has a great variety of literature written for this combination of instruments. It has a full, rich sound and is particularly recommended for large occasions (over 160 people).

There are several TRIO combinations available which can be a lovely choice for variety of sound. The costs are less and the sound is elegant. There have been many arrangements made for these groups:

- 2 violins (or 1 violin and viola) and cello
- flute, violin and cello
- oboe, violin and cello

The DUOS that we offer are carefully chosen so the instruments complement one another and the result is intimate and appropriate for small groups. Please be advised that there are fewer musical selections available for a duo.
